London, April 1, 2022 – Scala today announced their new Scent Screens Solutions, the latest revolutionary display technology from the innovative marketing technology company.
Using proprietary Synthetic Modicum Emitting Likeness Innovation (SMELI) pixel technology, Scala’s Scent Screens offer brands a compelling way to give customers an immersive in-store experience which has never been seen (or smelt) before.
“There is nothing fishy about the new SMELI pixel technology that has been developed by the Scala olfactory offices to take digital displays to the next level,” said Harry Horn, General Manager EMEA, Scala. “Scent is such an important sense and one that up to now, has been largely underutilized by brands. The new Scent Screens Solution means that brands now have a unique opportunity to give their customers a captivating in-store experience – whether it is that new car smell from a screen showing customization options in a car showroom, the aroma of a fresh burger or fries from a drive-through menu board, or a whiff of Ronaldo as part of a display for football boots, the SMELI technology offered by Scala through the Scent Screens Solution takes displays to the next level, expanding customer experiences for brands of all types.”
Customers can unlock the SMELI scents from the Scala Scent Screens by either tapping the enhanced objects on screen with their finger or nose. SMELI scents can also be unlocked using a QR code and the customer’s personal device.
Brands interested in finding out more about the Scent Screens or to set up a meeting in Scala’s newly opened olfactory offices should get in touch with the Scala team.
